With this past Wednesdays trip to Toronto for a Yankees game now in the books, it is time to reflect. Although the Yankees did not come out on top, they still clinched the divison which is all that matters. The facility, Rogers Centre, is an stunning facility for sporting events which includes instadium parking with an elevator that takes you from your car to your seat. The food was good, apparently except the pizza. The pizza care of the canadian company, PIZZA PIZZA, “had no character.” These are the words of my father upon taking a bite. It was fun all around and hopefully will become an annual affair.

Here is some insight into some of the new shows I am watching along with new episodes of some seasoned veterans:

THE OFFICE- Still the funniest show on TV. The only show I know that would start the season talking about gays. I’m a little dissapointed Jim transfered but i commend the show for not jumping at the opportunity of Oscar quitting to bring Jim back. I did find it interesting that Pam didnt get married after all. Loved the “Gaydar”, so funny.

SURVIVOR: COOK ISLANDS- Interesting idea with the different ethnic group tribes. I’m wrestling with the fact that I am rooting for the whites. I kinda feel racist, I will be honest. If I say anymore I feel something offensive might come out.

THE CLASS:  New show on CBS that has been very very highly advertised. The concept was an interesting one but I have to say it was wasnt incredibly funny. It honestly made think of Friends meets RENT. They were probably shooting for that Friends feel with the amount of main characters. The actual characters reminded me of the characters from the musical RENT.

STUDIO 60 ON THE SUNSET STRIP- This is one that I must reccomend. It is really smart, funny, interesting, and gutsy. It is an NBC show that was taking major shots at Saturday Night Live. It was just very very bold. I like Matthew Perry as an actor and he does well in this show. I have been told that if you liked the West Wing you will fall right into this program.

ER- Still classic as always. I will admit that I dont watch this show all that often, but whenever I do, its always good. I watched the season finale last summer so I figured I would watch the premiere and it was really good.
